Summer Skills and 3v3

We are mixing things up this summer to maximize the fun factor, while keeping our game and skating skills sharp.

The summer program will run mid July through mid August. Weeknight sessions will focus on puck skills and power skating, and Sunday sessions will focus on 3v3 half ice games for the U10s, U12/14s and cross ice games for U8s.

But this will be 3v3 like you've never played before! With rules designed to amp up the fun, and the competition. Goals will still earn one point, but backhanded goals are worth 2. Do something creative like shooting through the legs - 3 points. Goals after more than 3 passes - also 3 points. (See full rules below if you're intrigued.)

• U8s 18 min run clock games (3 cross ice games)
• U10s, 12s, 14s 25min run clock games (2 half ice games)
• 8 players max per team and 1 goalie
• 1:30 Shifts

• Players Keep Score (Flip Scoreboards will be provided)
• Goal = 1 point
• Backhand Goal = 2 Points
• Creative Goal = 3 point (Through the Legs, Michigan, ECT)
• Goals that are scored with more than 3 passes prior to scoring are worth 3 goals.(Tick-Tack-Toe)
• Greater than 4 goal differential a team is allowed to add 1 additional player until the lead is down to 1 goal.

• In the event of a tie there will be a sudden death shootout. (Each team has at least one chance.)
• Penalties will result in a penalty shot.
• They player that committed the infraction will chase (starting from their knees) the shooter.

• Regulation win = 3 points
• Shootout win = 2 points to winner and 1 point to losing team
• Sunday 8/13 is Championship Sunday 1v2, 3v4 Etc.
