30 by 30 Goalie Camp

The goal of the camp is to grow the goalie pool for Colorado to be in line with the USA Hockey 30 percent of NHL goalies from the US by the year 2030 goal. USA hockey has backed off that timeframe since covid cost them a few years but they are still committed to substantially growing the US Born goalie pool in the NHL.

Requirements

  •  Full HECC Approved Ice Hockey Goalie Gear 
  • At least 1 Year of Prior Goalie Experience 
  • 2014 birth year or older (2015 birth year please email coaching@foothillshockey.org)
  • Goalie must be available for ALL sessions (no partial attendance)

Alex Parrish

Alex is a native of Glenwood Springs Co, where he started his hockey career. Growing up he would attend two different prestigious goaltending programs, MEGA Goaltending and Stauber’s Goal crease, both located in Minnesota. At age 14, Alex traveled the country with the Colorado Renegades AAA program. Parrish played his high school career with Aspen High, where he got the opportunity to play overseas in both Norway and Sweden. After High school, Alex joined the Colorado Avalanche’s AHL affiliate Colorado Eagle’s practice Squad as their Emergency backup goalie (EBUG). His coaching credentials include the following:

  • Foothills Flyers Hockey Association, Head Goaltending Coach

Cam Clemson

Cam played the majority of his youth career at Foothills Hockey Association prior to playing with the Colorado Rampage AAA Program for two years and finishing up his youth hockey at Arvada Hockey Association. After graduation Cam took his game to the next level playing Junior A in Seattle, WA with the Puget Sound Tomahawks of the NORPAC. After a stint at the Junior A ranks Cam then decided to turn professional where he attended the CHL Rocky Mountain Rage tryouts in 2008/2009. Cam is the head scout and assistant coach for the Colorado Grit in the NAHL tier 2 Jr. A hockey team. Cam has run skills sessions for pro players the last 5 summers and also ran stick handling camps, “skate into shape” and checking camps for the last 8 years. Cam has also coached AAA hockey for 16 years.

  • 7 years as a U15 AAA coach
  • 8 years as a U16 AAA coach
  • 1 year as U14 AAA coach
