Qualifications

  • Each director or officer must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age during the term of office and be a Member (a parent or legal guardian of a participant) in good standing of the Association.
  • No more than one member per family may serve as a voting member on the Board concurrently.
  • Age Division Directors must be the parent or legal guardian of a player in the age division which he or she would represent during the term unless a vacancy has occurred.
  • All candidates for the office of President must have been a member in good standing for a minimum of two (2) years and have served a minimum of one (1) term as a member of the Board of Directors.

Nominations

  • A member may nominate themselves or another member by submitting a nomination form by the published deadline.
  • A member may NOT be nominated for more than one (1) Director position, nor may members of the same family be nominated for different Director positions.
  • Once the Nomination Period has closed, no write-in votes will be accepted.
  • If a member is nominated by someone other than themselves, the nominated member may accept or decline the nomination.
  • All nominees must complete a Candidate Profile within one (1) day after the close of the nomination period. Nominees who fail to submit a candidate profile will be disqualified.
  • A slate of qualified candidates will be posted on the Association website at the close of the nomination period.

Elections

Age Division Directors

  • Electronic ballots will be sent to all eligible voting members to elect their respective Age Division Director(s).
  • Electronic voting will be open for 7 days.

Executive Committee/Officers

  • At the conclusion of the Directs Elections, Officers will be elected by a simple majority vote of the new Board.
