Learn to Play Hockey

Registration for the Summer 2021 Future Flyers session is now open!

The Foothills Flyers are excited to announce the return of Future Flyers Learn to Play Hockey.  All boys and girls ages 4 - 12 are invited to to try hockey in a fun and affordable program led by our USA Hockey-certified coaches.  

Our program includes six (6) on-ice instructional sessions led by our top-notch USA Hockey certified coaches.  Flyers coaches and volunteers will be available to assist Future Flyers with their equipment and entering the ice surface.

All players must be registered with USA Hockey prior to registration.

Spring Session: 
Sundays, April 11 - May 23, 2021

Summer Session:

No skate on July 4th!

$125 with rental equipment (8U-10U only)

$100 without equipment

| Bring a Friend for Free!

All Future Flyers registered for the Spring session will have the opportunity to bring a friend for free on May 23rd!  All friends must be registered by their parent/guardian at the link below.

| Important Notes

To ensure proper fit, a fitting day will be held for 8U-10U players that need to borrow equipment.  Sizes and quantities are limited and are offered on a first come, first served basis.  Unfortunately, we do not have rental equipment for 12U-aged players.

This program is available for players that are not currently rostered on a team.

All players must be registered with USA Hockey prior to registration.

Dealing With the Uncertainty of COVID-19

The number one priority of Foothills Hockey Association is to ensure the health and safety of all athletes .  All participants must follow the protocols and procedures established by the host facility and by Foothills Hockey Association.  

Each participant will be provided with updated protocols prior to the start of the program.  

Protocols are subject to change at any time and may include but are not limited to: reduction in the number of participants, wearing face coverings (on and off the ice), availability of dressing rooms, limited or no spectators, etc.

Any participant that violates protocol will be expelled from the facility and removed from the program without a refund.
