We have a great 2022-23 season ahead of us!
All of our programs are led by a great line-up of coaches dedicated to developing your player both on and off the ice. For most age divisions, our programming includes weekly on-ice skills clinics and dry-land training.
At Foothills, our goal is to maximize the number of ice touches and development opportunities, while keeping costs in check and making hockey accessible to more players . Costs for ice time and officials are increasing across the state and are impacting every program. We've worked hard to absorb these costs, and increase our fundraising goals to meet these challenges, but any increases in pricing our returning families see are due to these expenses. We ask that when you are comparing between programs, we recommend you consider the amount of ice time and training that Foothills provides. We believe we provide the best programming and value in our area, but if you have any questions about our programs, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
All new and returning members are encouraged to register early to take advantage of the built-in monthly payment schedule. All players must be current with the payment schedule and in good financial standing with the association to participate in pre-tryout training camps and tryouts for their age group.
All players must have a 2022-23 USA Hockey
registration number prior to registration.

The Foothills Flyers include more opportunities for development in one convenient payment schedule than any other club in town. Our built-in payment plan allows families to spread the cost of the season over 5-8 months (depending on age division).
To compare costs and benefits between our program and others in our league, please see the attached Understanding Season Fees brochure below, or visit the team Fees and Payment schedule pages (to the right).
To hold a space for the upcoming hockey season, a NON-REFUNDABLE Registration Deposit will be required with your Registration Agreement. The Registration Agreement and Registration Deposit establish that your player is committed to be a Foothills Flyer for the season and that your family will complete its financial obligation on a timely basis.
FHA uses your commitment to declare the number of teams for the season, allocate ice time, place apparel and equipment orders, make coaching determinations and account for other operational costs.
A player is not considered registered until the Registration Agreement and the first monthly installment of the Registration Deposit is received. A player must be current on their Registration Deposit payment schedule to be eligible to participate in pre-tryout training camp and team tryouts.
The remaining registration fees due will be assessed after your player has been placed on a team following tryouts and must be paid per the the fee and payment schedule for the age division and level.
Each player will be assessed team fees to cover their pro-rata share of incurred team expenses. Team fees may be used for hockey-related expenses such as tournament entry fees, coaches’ expenses, team meals, team building events, etc. The total team fees will be determined after teams are formed and will be collected by the team manager.
For the 2022-23 season, registration fees include an initial team fee assessment that will be directed to the team account on your behalf. There may be additional team fees due based on the budget provided by the team manager.
Registration fees and deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. In very limited circumstances, FHA may refund or transfer registration fees with the approval of the FHA Board of Directors.
If a registered player (10U through 18U) gives notice prior to team tryouts and does not participate in FHA tryouts, the player’s financial obligation is equivalent to the Registration Deposit defined in the Fees and Payment Schedule for the age division.
If a player participates in FHA team tryouts, is placed on a team, and later decides to forego his/her commitment to play at FHA, the player is responsible for the full season fees (Registration Deposit + Registration Fees) as defined in the Fees and Payment Schedule for the age division.
The obligation for registered 8U players is the Registration Deposit defined in the Fees and Payment schedule prior to the start of the season. Full season fees are due if the player participates in the start of the season.
Please review the FHA Bylaws, Policies & Procedures for the full refund policy.
